Hello gorgeous Gold Botherers, I have woken waiting for this promised gold change to come through Newcastle. Here at Goldlands things are STEAMY! And that's not just because Cherry is in South Korea & therefore her fan waving is in absentia! Things are hot here because I am busy packing for a magnificent cruise & I am seeing ALOT of opportunities for me to sunbake on the deck in my leopardprint onesy...I have sunglasses that match & everything!

Remember when you were a teenager, poring over Cosmopolitan, Cleo & Dolly magazines? Do you recall desperately yearning to be as thin, young, carefree & beautiful as the emaciated, pre-pubertal girls on the pages? Well I am about to live that dream on the Rhapsody on the Seas! And can you only BEGIN to imagine my sheer rapture when I found out there is a CARDS ROOM?! I remember as a wee girl back in Abermain being sent to bed whilst the grown ups played Canasta well into the night, bottles clanking, smoke rising from Kent cigarettes...Gold times...

I'm just going to pop in a cool bath before I attempt to go throught the rigmarole of choosing what to take! If you have a spare minute pop over to Goldlands & help me sit on this travel case that is difficult to close! I hadn't realised how bulky lacy brunchcoats, sequined whoops-a-daisies (my bloomers if you must know) & stilettos could BE!*
